Welcome to The Vulva Pages!

The Vulva Pages started out as a print zine, focusing on women and sexual empowerment. Its goal is to provide a positive, realistic vision of women’s sexuality; a place where women can express themselves freely and honestly; a place where they can examine issues that frustrate, anger and excite them; as well as offering women a framework they can use to empower themselves and discover their own authentic sexuality.

Why Vulva?

There are still women who do not have orgasms. There are still women who have never seen their own vulvas. There are still women who have sex when they don’t want to. There are still women living “in the closet”. There are still women who are stigmatized and ostracized for choosing to work in the sex trade. There are still women in the sex trade who didn’t choose to be there. There are still women who become pregnant because they don’t understand birth control or because they were pressured into having unprotected sexual intercourse. There are still women who are raped. This does not amount to sexual empowerment.

Every women should have the opportunity to discover and develop her authentic sexuality on her own terms. As such, The Vulva Pages is dedicated to promoting a healthy view of sexuality and the body.
